***2014 - THE YEAR OF FREEDOM FOR KASHMIR***

    HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL THE READERS AROUND  THE GLOBE!!!   

This communication is to all the honorable: 

•  Kashmiris living around the globe; 

•  Each and every member of peace loving/civilized/free societies of 21st century; 
•  All International Human Right Organizations;
•  Entire International Print and Electronic Media;
• The Secretary General of United Nations and to all the permanent members of the UN Security Council; 
• The President, Prime Minister and the entire civil Society of India;

AGAINST THE WISHES OF THE MAJORITY, KASHMIR WAS FORCIBLY OCCUPIED BY INDIA DURING 1948. TO DATE UN SECURITY COUNCIL RESOLUTIONS FOR HOLDING PLEBISCITE NEVER IMPLEMENTED. KASHMIRIS ARE ENSLAVED/SUBJUGATED AGAINST THEIR FREE WILL FOR THE PAST 65 YEARS AND DENIED THEIR BIRTH RIGHT OF SELF DETERMINATION!!! 

STRANGE ENOUGH KASHMIRIS BEING FIRST PARTY IN THIS DISPUTE WHOSE FATE BEING DECIDED, HAVE NO LEGAL RIGHT TO PLEAD THEIR CASE AT UNO OR BE PART OF ANY ONGOING DIALOGUES/NEGTIATIONS 2014 - THE YEAR OF FREEDOM FOR KASHMIRIS.

AGREEMENTS/PACTS/DIPLOMACY IS BEING IMPOSED UNILATERALY. WHY??? May be:

1. Because Kashmir is inhabited by the Muslims majority and they don’t deserve justice/right of self determination/freedom. (a glaring example of 21st century colonialism, in the hands of torch bearers of the most modern democracies);

2. If Kashmir is lost, secular India and the largest democracy will lose its credibility/impact as so called mini super power role in the region, aimed at containing emerging super power China/nuclear Pakistan:

•   To retard the process of early geo strategic and economic acceleration, as long as possible. 

•  Not to allow prompt development of economic corridor/zone which provides easy access to China to reach hot waters and Central Asian States/European Markets?

•   corner/strangulate nuclear Pakistan and push it towards the status of failure state;

3. Deny freedom to kashmiris till the time they resort to jihad/armed insurrection(label it terrorism) and then bring in NATO and western military might like in Afghanistan/Iraq and go for a big game, as usual, BRING THINGS CLOSE TO NUCLEAR FLASH POINT!!! QUESTION IS WHY AND TO WHAT CONSEQUENCE? WHY INDIA CAN’T BE TOLD TO CONFINE TO ENHERITED VERY BIG EMPIRE, COMPRISING OVER ONE BILLION POPULATIONS AND LET THE PEACE OF THE WORLD UNDISTURBED! Now-----; ABANDONED BY UNO, IGNORED BY THE CHAMPIONS OF MODERN/DEMOCRATIC WORLD, AUGUST INSTITUTIONS OF CIVIL LIBERTIES/JUSTICE/HUMAN RIGHTS, WE KASHMIRIS ARE LEFT WITH ONLY CHOICE TO PLEAD OUR CASE DIRECTELY WITH THE WORLD COMMUNITY, PARTICULARLY THE INTERNATIONAL MEDIA. Keeping the foregoing in view and to achieve our cherished desire of freedom:

* We all Kashmiri vow to continue our peaceful freedom struggle towards a successful milestone in the year 2014!
* Let us resolve to put aside all prejudices, personal rifts, divisions, conflicts/clash of interests and all malign judgments and reservations, if any among us. Let’s join hands and gather on one platform, have single agenda, common voice FOR THE ACQUISITION OF OUR BIRTH RIGHT OF SELF DETERMINATION AND FREEDOM!
* To achieve our ultimate objective, all peaceful political, social, diplomatic, religious, individual or collective platforms/ resources must be applied with full vigor and strength to internationalize KASHMIR ISSUE.
* Let’s raise the voice of freedom struggle in every corner of the world. Let’s stress on UNO and international community/media that brutal Indian occupation forces be immediately withdrawn and UN peace keeping troops be deployed with the urgency, it actually deserves! Let us bring into the focus of so called torch bearers of democracy of 21st century, who have held UNO as a hostage, to give up the modern colonialism and force India to put an end to the bloodshed, misery and grave human rights violations.
* Kashmiris reserve the right to defend themselves and resist the brutal occupation and systematic genocide perpetrated by Indian occupation forces. Champions of HUMAN RIGHTS and international media, giving close eye treatment to the atrocities/brutalities in Kashmir need to given a wakeup call.
* Kashmiris being the true and legitimate stakeholders and being the first party in this dispute must be given a legal status to represent and defend their rights, at par with India and Pakistan.
* To reach at an amicable/peaceful solution of Kashmir dispute, there is a dire urgency and absolute necessity that Kashmiri leadership on both sides of LOC be given opportunity to sit together and develop consensus about the future course.
* Kashmiris will never accept any imposed/interim solution, option or division of Kashmir without the explicit consent through the process of plebiscite/right of self determination. Peaceful freedom struggle will remain the centre of our focus and we all kashmiris will strive even harder during the year 2014 and make our dream come true!!! TO ACHIEVE OUR ULTIMATE GOAL, INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY WILL HAVE TO BE MOBILIZED AROUND THE GLOBE, FOR WHICH EACH KASHMIRI WILL HAVE TO PLAY ITS PART AND BE READY TO RENDER ANY KIND OF SACRIFICE, AS DEEMED NECESSARY.
