About

• Served in Pakistan Army(Baloch Regiment) for 25 years and retired in 1990. Joined politics / Muslim Conference( Sikander Group) and was Chief Organizer of MC(S). Stayed in USA for 5 years and extensively travelled, the world over.

• Also organized Jammu and Kashmir Citizens Forum in 1993 for the Freedom of Kashmir and held more than 100 seminars, conferences and rallies all over AK and Pakistan. Nawabzada Nasir Ullah Khan was always kind to support this forum and participated in various events.

• As part of MC, Contested elections in 2006 and defeated Sardar Qamar uz Zaman , PPP and Mr Abdul Rashid Turabi , JI both and became MLA from Wasti Bagh(LA-14). Appointed as Minister for works, communication, reconstruction and Rehabilitation. As a minister, brought historical changes in roads and communication sector in AK. More than Rs. 6 billion worth developmental projects were initiated in Wasti Bagh, an historical achievement.

• Contested election again in June 2011, as independent candidate and got 14000 votes. PPP indulged in massive rigging and more than 15,000 fake votes were coasted in LA 14 alone.Writ petition against bogus voting/rigging is filed and case is under hearing.

• Making determined efforts to fight for the rights of the people of AJK and IHK both!

• I am doing my bit for the freedom of Kashmir but I wish and pray that God Almighty provides me unique opportunity, courage and wisdom to play most active/dedicated role!

• KASHMIRI COMMUNITY AS A WHOLE HAS TO PLAY DOMINANT ROLE TO RENEW, REJUVENATE AND RESURFACE THIS ISSUE THROUGH ALL POSSIBLE MEANS !
